Kubu Rattan Rolling Storage Basket

Generously scaled, beautifully woven, and designed to move wherever it is needed, the Kubu Rattan Rolling Storage Basket brings traditional basketry to hardworking household storage.

Each basket is handwoven from natural Kubu rattan, prized for its strength, distinctive texture, and softly weathered grey finish. A structured square silhouette gives the basket a substantial, furniture-like presence, while subtle variations within the weave preserve the relaxed character of the natural material.

Four discreet caster wheels beneath the reinforced base allow the basket to move easily from room to room—even when filled. Integrated woven handles provide another convenient way to reposition it, making this an especially useful piece for the things that are frequently gathered, carried, and put away.

Fill one beside the hearth with firewood, tuck blankets and pillows beside a sofa, gather shoes and outdoor essentials in the mudroom, or use it for laundry, children's toys, sporting gear, and seasonal linens. The larger sizes are substantial enough to become handsome floor-storage pieces in their own right.

Available in three sizes, the Kubu Rattan Rolling Storage Basket brings order to a well-lived-in home without making practical storage feel utilitarian.

Natural Kubu Rattan

The softly weathered Kubu Grey finish is created through the natural preparation of the rattan rather than a heavy painted surface, allowing variations in the reed's grain, tone, and texture to remain visible. The result is a nuanced warm grey that pairs beautifully with leather, linen, stone, aged woods, ticking stripes, and other natural materials.

Because every basket is woven by hand, no two will be exactly alike. Variations in color, texture, weave, and dimensions are inherent to the material and part of each piece's individual character.

Care

Dust regularly with a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush. For occasional deeper cleaning, wipe gently with a lightly dampened cloth and allow the rattan to dry thoroughly.

Do not soak or submerge. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, and outdoor weather. This piece is intended for indoor use.

Please note: Each basket is individually handcrafted from natural rattan. Variations in size, color, grain, and weave are expected and contribute to the authentic character of the piece.
