The Jonesport Wheat Country House Chair

Generous proportions and softly tailored details give The Jonesport Wheat Country House Chair the welcoming character of a favorite seat in a well-lived-in country home. Upholstered in a warm wheat-toned piqué weave, it offers a beautifully textured neutral that feels richer and more collected than a conventional beige.

The chair’s modified Charles of London arms introduce a subtle traditional influence, while the T-front seat cushion gives the silhouette an easy, tailored finish. Inside, Comfort Coil seating with Comfor-Gel cushioning is designed for supportive everyday comfort—making Jonesport particularly suited to reading, conversation, and quiet evenings by the fire.

Its warm neutral palette provides an ideal backdrop for pattern. Pair it with an awning stripe, faded floral, traditional plaid, or tapestry pillow to create the layered effect associated with enduring English and American country interiors.

In The Heritage Stable House, Wheat works beautifully alongside saddle leather, dark oak, antique hunting rugs, aged brass, and equestrian artwork. In The Coastal Library, introduce faded indigo, chambray, striped linen, weathered woods, and shelves of books for a lighter, coastal interpretation.

Substantial enough to stand on its own yet quiet enough to layer easily into an established room, Jonesport is the kind of chair that looks better surrounded by things collected over time.
