Graphic yet grounded in traditional craftsmanship, the Cecilia Hunt Plaid Throw brings a handsome layer of black and natural ivory to The Heritage Stable House and The Sporting Estate. Its bold woven plaid recalls the practical textiles of old country houses, tack rooms, and sporting lodges, while the substantial cotton construction gives it a relaxed, tactile character.
Cecilia is ethically handwoven by artisans in Totonicapán, Guatemala, using traditional footlooms and 100% natural cotton. A hand-embroidered randa—the decorative joining technique traditionally used to connect woven panels—adds an artisanal detail that makes each piece feel distinctive rather than mass-produced.
The strong black-and-ivory palette makes a beautiful counterpoint to aged brown leather, dark oak, antique brass, equestrian art, vintage books, and richly patterned rugs. Drape it over a worn leather club chair beside the fire, fold it across an oak bench in the tack room, or layer it at the foot of a guest bed for an easy sporting-house finish.
Substantial enough for cool evenings yet versatile enough for everyday styling, Cecilia can also travel outdoors for picnics, tailgates, and relaxed gatherings on the estate grounds.
