Black Mountain Handwoven Rattan Basket

Named for one of our favorite mountain towns, the Black Mountain Handwoven Rattan Basket brings the handsome practicality of traditional country-house basketry to everyday storage.

Generously woven from natural rattan, its deep, rounded silhouette, substantial braided rim, and integrated handles give it the character of an old utility basket collected over time. The beautifully varied weave introduces warmth and texture while remaining sturdy enough for the things a well-lived-in home inevitably gathers.

Place one beside the hearth for firewood, near a favorite chair for throws and pillows, or in an entryway for shoes, riding gear, and outdoor essentials. Larger sizes make handsome floor baskets for blankets and bulky storage, while the smaller versions work beautifully for toys, books, towels, or everyday necessities.

Available in four graduated sizes, the Black Mountain baskets are particularly striking grouped together for a collected, layered look.

Because each basket is woven by hand from natural materials, variations in color, texture, weave, and dimensions are expected and contribute to the individual character of every piece.
